My hair is thinning or receding
From regenerative therapy to FUE hair transplant — one clinic, one plan.
Hair loss has many causes — hormonal, nutritional, genetic and medical. We investigate the why with a proper trichology consultation and bloodwork, then offer the full spectrum of care: non-surgical regenerative therapies, medical prescriptions, and — where appropriate — FUE hair transplant surgery designed specifically for Afro and straight hair types.
Why it happens
Understanding the causes
Androgenetic (pattern) hair loss in men and women
Traction alopecia from braids, weaves and tight styling
Nutritional deficiencies and thyroid dysfunction
Post-partum, menopausal and hormonal shifts
Stress, telogen effluvium and inflammatory scalp conditions
Our approach
How Refresh can help
Every journey starts with an AI-assisted hair and scalp assessment and a doctor consultation. From there we recommend the least invasive effective option first — regenerative therapy and medical support — and progress to hairline design and FUE transplant only when clinically indicated.

Tailored options your doctor may recommend
AI Hair Assessment
Digital scalp and follicle analysis to map density, miniaturisation and hair-loss pattern before we prescribe anything.
Hairline Design Consultation
A doctor-led planning session that maps a natural, age-appropriate hairline before any surgical decision.
FUE Hair Transplant — Afro Hair
Follicular Unit Extraction technique adapted for curved Afro follicles, with specialised punches and extraction angles to protect graft survival.
FUE Hair Transplant — Straight Hair
Standard FUE extraction and implantation for straight and wavy hair types, with dense-pack hairline restoration.
Non-Surgical Hair Restoration
PRP, exosome therapy and scalp mesotherapy to strengthen existing follicles and prolong results.
Medical Prescriptions
Evidence-based oral and topical support (e.g. minoxidil, finasteride, dutasteride) where clinically appropriate.
Frequently asked
Good to know
Am I a candidate for a hair transplant?+
Not everyone is — and that's the point of the consultation. We only recommend FUE when your hair loss is stable, donor density is adequate, and non-surgical options won't achieve your goal.
Is FUE different for Afro hair?+
Yes. Afro follicles curl beneath the skin, so extraction requires specialised punches and a slower, more careful technique to protect graft survival. This is a core part of our practice, not an afterthought.
When will I see results from PRP or exosomes?+
Reduced shedding within 6–8 weeks and visible density from 3–4 months, with a maintenance plan thereafter.
